Greatest Birthday Vacation!!

T-Rex turned eight!!! We spend his birthday in California, 3 days in Disneyland,
a day at Universal Studios, and a day at Sea World. It was a crazy whorl wind, but really really fun. Disneyland was the same as I remembered it, yet so much more too. T-Rex loved all the fast rides the best, but he did like the Tiki room. It was so great to watch T-Rex's eyes light up with each new turn. It's some thing he will remember the rest of his life. We also got to stay at the Hilton while we were in Anaheim, you all know me better I got a killer deal! We spent T-Rex's actual birthday at Universal Studios, the home of Spider-men movies, and Jurassic Park. He really liked Curious George's play areas, but 3 days with out toys and you'll play with anything. If you ask T-Rex what his favorite park was he says, "Sea World." I can't believe how it has grown since I was a kid. It is humongous, Shamu's stadium is gigantic, it was easy to get lost in there. We didn't even get to see all the shows, but we did bring Shamu home with us. Well at least on dvd, so if anyone wants to see what Shamu is up to now, you can come watch it here, cause it's not leaving T-Rex's sight. We had tickets to the San Diego Zoo Monday, but we were to ready to get home.

We made it home 13 hours before T-Rex started school again.
He is so excited to be in 3rd grade, and proud of himself. He even told his teacher all the things in school he is great at. Things are just settling down till this weekend for T-Rex's Baptism. More to come on that note.

I can't forget the to introduce the newest member of our family, Jax Larsen. Isn't he cute. Who would have thought a puppy you get for free would cost so much, but that's another story.

Family Reunion!

Things have been a little crazy around here Getting ready for school to start (in10 days) T-Rex's Birthday, vacation and then getting ready for a Moon Lake Family Reunion. This summer just flew by and I can't believe it is over. We got to take Brexton up with us which was way fun for T-Rex, most of the time, he wasn't sure he liked having to keep track of a little brother. We all had a lot of fun with the beach, boating, tubing and playing in the woods, other then the bug bites. Every one enjoyed the mud pit, even me, who needs to pay $250.00 for a mud bath. T-Rex Casey and Naomi had so much fun covering me with mud. We did bury a few kids in the sand also. Every one in the picture was buried at one point. Who would have thought making it so a kid is unable to move would have such an appeal. We were able to have a few of the "cousins" stay over night with us, which was fun for T-Rex. All and all it was a great time for everyone.
